Gonzalez and Miglionico Earn All-Conference Basketball Honors

PAXTON, Mass. - Two Anna Maria basketball student-athletes earned All-Conference Team honors, as announced by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Arianna Gonzalez, a junior guard from Worcester, Massachusetts, earned Second Team All-Conference honors for women's basketball after an outstanding season with the AMCATS. Gonzalez was a dynamic force on the court, starting every game and logging an impressive 33.5 minutes per contest, serving as the engine for Anna Maria on both ends of the floor.

She led the team in scoring, averaging 11.8 points per game, while also contributing 7.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest, showcasing her versatility as one of the MASCAC's most well-rounded players. Defensively, Gonzalez was relentless, averaging 3.4 steals per game and ranking second on the team with 6.2 rebounds per game from the guard position.

On the men's side, Lucas Miglionico, a sophomore from Dudley, Massachusetts, capped a standout season by earning Second Team All-Conference recognition. Miglionico appeared in 25 games for the AMCATS and emerged as the team's leading scorer, averaging 16.4 points per contest while logging 29 minutes per game.

A versatile offensive threat, Miglionico finished the season with 411 total points while averaging 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists. His defensive presence was notable as well, tallying 21 blocks and 0.8 steals per game throughout the season.
