MEN'S LACROSSE HELD SCORELESS BY MONKS

STANDISH, ME - On Sunday April 13th, 2025, the Anna Maria College men's lacrosse team traveled to Standish, ME to take on the Monks of Saint Joseph's of ME for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 23-0.

The Monks would come out strong in the game against the AMCATS. They would take total control over the AMCATS. Although the Monks would be controlling play, the AMCATS would manage 13 shots on the Monks goalie but would be denied any scoring chances in the game. The AMCATS would continue to try and create opportunities against the Monks, but the Monks would manage to keep the AMCATS off the board for the entire game and the AMCATS would fall to the Monks 23 to 0.  Despite the loss, Nathan Powers won 16 of his 18 face-offs against the Monks.
