McKinnon Earns MASCAC Player of the Week Honors
PAXTON, Mass. - Braeden McKinnon was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
McKinnon was recognized for his standout play in a perfect 2-0 week for the AMCATS. The senior scored three goals and added one assist for four total points across both wins. McKinnon recorded two goals and one assist in a 5-3 win over Westfield State University, and added a goal in a 7-3 victory over Fitchburg State University to move into first place in the MASCAC.
The Ontario native leads the AMCATS with 14 goals on the season, adding 13 assists for a team-high 27 points.
The men's ice hockey team returns to action on Thursday, February 19th, for a road game against Worcester State beginning at 7:10 p.m.
