Sullivan Named MASCAC Pitcher of the Week

PAXTON, Mass. - Junior pitcher Owen Sullivan was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for his outstanding performance in a 4-0 shutout victory against Gordon College.

Sullivan delivered a dominant outing to earn the weekly honor, tossing a complete-game shutout over seven innings. The right-hander struck out nine while allowing just four hits, controlling the game from start to finish and never allowing Gordon on the scoreboard.

A key piece of the AMCATS rotation, Sullivan has been one of the team's top starters this season. He holds a 2-0 record with a 1.96 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, while totaling 28 strikeouts across 18.1 innings pitched in three appearances.

Sullivan and the AMCATS will host MCLA to open Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, Mar. 24. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
