Martin Earns NAC Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week

PAXTON, Mass. - Freshman midfielder Jacob Martin earned North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week honors following a standout performance in Anna Maria College's win over Cairn University.

Martin led the AMCATS' offense with eight goals and two assists for a total of 10 points in the dominant victory, the team's first of the season.

Martin ranks second on the team in goals with 11, trailing fellow freshman Miles Cormier, who leads the team with 18 this season. Martin has also added five assists, giving him 16 total points on the year.

Martin and the AMCATS return to action on Wednesday, March 11, when they host Johnson and Wales University at 6 p.m.
