HAWKS and AMCATS play to 0-0 DRAW

PAXTON, Mass. (9.12.11) – The Anna Maria College men's soccer team and Route 56 rival Becker College played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer to complete a 0-0 draw in non- conference action on AMCAT field on Monday night. With the tie Anna Maria's record stands at 0-4-1 and Becker falls to 1-2-1.

Junior Enco Lika (Worcester, Mass.) had a game-high 8 shots on the night. Becker had six different players with attemps, and held a slight 10-8 shots advantage.

Sophomore keeper Tim McDonald (Holden, Mass.) and senior Mike Dandurand (Warwick, RI) both made 5 saves on the night for their respective teams.

Becker returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Nichols for a 4:00pm match-up, while Anna Maria hosts Norwich on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
