Bio

Kevin enters his third season at Anna Maria after taking over as head coach in 2023. Kevin boasts extensive coaching experience at the high school level, most recently serving as the girls' and boys' volleyball coach at Agawam High School from 2016 to 2023. Pender led the Agawan boys volleyball team to the 2023 State Title and the program's first title since 2013.  He was an assistant coach at Frontier Regional for two years and head coach at Southwick for one year. While at Frontier, the team won a state championship in 2014 and 2015. In addition, he has coached for the Pioneer Valley Juniors Volleyball Club since 2011.  

Kevin graduate from Providence College and is currently a social studies teacher at Agawam High School.
