Hayden Braga was officially named Associate Head Coach at the conclusion of the 2024 Season. The 2024 season marked his first year on the Anna Maria coaching staff, and his first as the Defensive Coordinator. He also coached the Inside Linebacker Position and served as the program’s Assistant Academic Liaison. In February of 2024, he was hired onto the coaching staff to be the Defensive Coordinator.

Coach Braga started at Wide Receiver all 4 years for the AMCATS from 2019-2022. Braga was also a 3-year Captain for this Football Program as well, including on the Championship Team in 2021. He is the only Athlete ever in Anna Maria College’s history to be a 4-year Player for both the Football and Men’s Basketball Program. Braga also serving as a Captain for Men’s Basketball Team as well.

After his time with Anna Maria, he was offered a Professional Football opportunity in Europe. Braga being signed as a free agent to the Dresden Monarchs of the GFL, playing for Longtime NFL OL Coach Paul Alexander. Amassing nearly 600 yards receiving yards and 6 touchdowns during his Half-Season with the Monarchs.

Braga resides from Foster, RI where he attended Ponaganset High School. At Ponaganset, he served as a Captain for both his Men’s Basketball and Football Team as well, also earning All-Conference Honors for every year played.

Coach Braga is a two-time graduate of Anna Maria College, in 2021 earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and in 2023 earning a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
