Bio

Dr. Erin Blette enters her first year as the inaugural head coach of the Anna Maria College competitive cheer program, leading the launch and development of the AMCATS’ newest sport beginning in the upcoming academic year.

Blette brings more than 13 years of cheerleading coaching experience across the collegiate, high school, and all-star levels. She most recently served as an assistant cheer coach at Framingham State University (2023–present), where she played a key role in athlete development, recruiting, and preparing the program for competition at NCA College Nationals.

In addition to her collegiate experience, Blette currently serves as the head coach of the cheer program at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, overseeing both varsity and junior varsity teams. Her responsibilities include staff management, choreography, budgeting, and community engagement. Under her leadership, the program earned the Fall 2024 Sportsmanship Award and finished as the North Region runner-up.

Blette has also led successful varsity programs at both Bedford High School and Brookline High School, including guiding Bedford to back-to-back North Region Championships.

Beyond coaching, Blette is an accomplished all-star and MSAA judge, holding certifications through United, Open, and USASF. She regularly judges competitions at both the regional and national levels and is an experienced choreographer known for creating innovative, rule-compliant routines that maximize team scoring potential.

Blette holds USA Cheer certification and is CPR, First Aid, AED, and USASF safety trained.

She earned her doctorate and master’s degrees in education from Northeastern University and her bachelor’s degree in English from Coastal Carolina University.
