Women's Soccer Shutout by Monks

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Soccer team was shutout by the Monks of Saint Joseph's College this evening in conference action 9-0 in Maine.

 

The Monks (7-1, 5-1 GNAC) were powered by Haley DaGraca who took five shots and was able to put three into the net. DaGraca was accompanied by six other players who found the back of the net. Also for Saint Joseph's, Colleen Sheehan contributed on three of the nine goals with three assists.

 

AMCAT (0-11, 0-7 GNAC) goalie Rachel Matloff (Grafton, Mass.) tallied double digit saves on the night with fifteen.

 

Saint Joseph's will be back on the field October 3rd at 7:00 PM as they face off against Lasell.

 

Anna Maria will play again this Wednesday the 3rd at 7:00 PM against another conference opponent in Rivier at home on AMCAT Field.
